BATWorks will anchor a growing innovation ecosystem along the New York Harbor for new climate technologists, entrepreneurs, and talent working to develop, pilot, and deploy new solutions to combat the effects of climate change.
Programs
BATWorks will enable emerging market innovators, small- and medium-sized companies, and growth-stage and commercialization-stage companies to build and rapidly prototype products, provide business support , and carry out product research and development using fit-for-purpose spaces such as specialized labs, coworking and events spaces. The hub will offer workforce training and additional benefits to Sunset Park and surrounding communities.

NYC Construction & Demolition Reuse Summit
Advancing Circularity in NYC’s Built Environment. Join us for an afternoon focused on reducing waste and accelerating material reuse across New York City’s built environment. In partnership with DSNY, Town+Gown, NYCEDC, LACI, and RECLAIM NYC, the summit will convene policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, advocates, designers, and entrepreneurs to explore solutions that keep valuable materials in circulation, reduce emissions, and unlock new economic opportunities.
